There And Back Again...Before Lord Of The Rings After the Amazing Lord of the Rings Trilogy, finally The Hobbit movie will be made. It might be Guillermo Del Toro who will be directing it. He has directed Pans Labyrinth and Hellboy. There are lawsuits, and fights between studios and directors over who will be directing it. Many of us were hoping it would be Peter Jackson. If we are lucky, Peter will be a part of it, but only as a producer. There are going to be two Hobbit films so as to include a lot of story from J.R.R. Tolkien. Our favorite actors from the Lord of the Rings trilogy have little parts if any, in the films, but the actors have expressed that they would be glad to take a part in it if called for. I don't know if Guillermo can match what Peter Jackson has done, we can only hope. As the writer's stikes are still on, the scripts have not been started. They probably won't until it's over. I am sure all of us Tolkien fans are waiting with great anticipation.
